Camera gear

Film cameras
There is nothing to compare to the feeling of loading your camera with film, shooting some photos, then developing and printing them in your very own darkroom.
While I do use a digital DSLR camera my favorite is still the rangefinder film cameras made from the 40's through the early 70's.
Rangefinder photography
For the most part photography with a rangefinder camera involves going back to the basics. Many of these cameras lack built-in light meters which requires the photographer to either guess at the exposure (sunny 16 rule) or use a handheld light meter..but then this is part of the fun of using them. It requires you to be creative...
